 Dr. Mikao Usui
Reiki is a Japanese stress reduction system that promotes healing.
Reiki, a Japanese word, translates to Rei = Spiritual wisdom and Ki = Life Energy Force. It is an energy healing art that was given to Dr. Mikao Usui while he was on a 21 day meditation fast on a mountain known as Kuramayama, Japan in March of 1922. He went on to open clinics in Japan and teach his methods passing this amazing energy healing on to others so it has become widespread in it's use all over the world. It is a constant source of energy that provides ever more increased access to the unlimited potential it possesses. It is evolving and improving each time it is used providing deeper connection to the spiritual aspect of each individual as they develop rapport and trust in it's many uses. Reiki comes from the source of all creation so has it's own wisdom and intelligence as you allow it to flow through and from you. The practitioner develops a relationship of trust in the wisdom of intuitive guidance when using Reiki energy for best outcome. This enhances the heart's knowing, wisdom, that is useful in all of life's circumstances. Sessions A full session is a simple practice that can be done while seated in a chair or lying on a massage table fully dressed and comfortable with pillows and blankets. Reiki provides a deeply relaxing peaceful effect for healing. The energy is guided through the hands of the practitioner while gently touching or hovering over the energy centers of the body and the affected areas in need of treatment. Reiki As A Way Of Living Reiki is useful in so many ways! It is life force energy that can do no harm and is a part of all living things. For yourself and others Reiki can be used when you have a stomach ache, a headache, sinus trouble, sore throat, bruise or abrasion, broken bone, surgery of any kind, toothache, virtually ANY kind of suffering can be eased including emotional and mental stress. It can be used to improve relationships with people you love and people you don't like who are causing difficulty in your life. In it's unconditional love and infinite wisdom the outcome is always according to Divine Order for the highest good for all concerned. The practitioner never dictates what that may be, yet the outcome always brings more peace and harmony for all concerned. Reiki can be used very effectively on animals and plants, too! They love it! It calms your pet and eases suffering of any kind. Reiki Enhances Other Types of Treatments Many people in health care recognize the unlimited value of this simple practice to enhance the quality of their work. Nurses, massage therapists, chiropractors, MDs, surgeons, dentists, even veterinarians have become familiar with the many uses of Reiki energy to improve the outcomes for their patients. There is a non-profit, the NW Reiki Association, where members volunteer to share Reiki with cancer patients in chemo clinics in Portland, Oregon. Mini-sessions are given to patients as they receive their chemo drips. Reiki works to diminish the side effects from the radiation treatment while enhancing the benefits. Usui Reiki There are 3 levels in Usui Reiki, first, second, and Advanced Reiki Training (ART)/Master. The first and second levels are taught together in a two day class. The Usui Holy Fire II ART/Master course is a 3 day class. Then there is Karuna®. Karuna Reiki® is an advanced form of Reiki that brings in more refined energies for healing deep core issues of child abuse, sex abuse, addiction, ancestral patterns and more. This is taught with Holy Fire II Reiki. This course can be taken once a student has been trained in Usui Holy Fire II Reiki ART/Master level and has practiced for a period of a minimum of 6 months. Karuna® clears more of the deep stresses that cause disease in the body and problems in life. Holy Fire II Reiki is a very recent (2014) and refined form of energy healing that comes from the Third Heaven and above. Holy Fire II Reiki is now added to all of my Usui Reiki sessions and classes. It is an enhancement of the very deep healing that Usui Reiki provides. The way this occurs is that each individual has a direct experience of the healing energy without the need of the practitioner or teacher to physically interact with them.This means that the energies do not become diffused by the practitioner as it passes through them to the recipient. Some of the practices are experienced in a meditative state going inward. This new Holy Fire II Reiki is what I teach for all my classes from beginner to Karuna®. KARUNA® HOLY FIRE II REIKI
Holy Fire II Karuna Reiki® training may be taken 6 months after regularly using the Usui Holy Fire II Reiki ART/Master training techniques. This training brings in 8 new symbols for even deeper healing of very specific issues. These symbols deal with ancestral patterns, addictions, abuse, breaking unwanted habits, setting and establishing new goals, bringing in deep peace, and relieving mental stress.
