Mrs. Takata was a Hawaiian, US citizen who was responsible for a Reiki master symbol so the western world could learn and share it. She began her Reiki journey when she received a miracle cure in Japan in 1939.
Deborah initially received Reiki training all levels from 1994 -1996 as Takata style from a Reiki master who's lineage came from Takata's granddaughter, Phyllis Fujimoto. In the spirit of honoring a woman for something of such powerful spiritual significance I adopt her name to share the Usui Reiki symbols in my trainings. |

The Katra symbol came to Deborah O'Brien in a meditation while attending Karuna Reiki training in 2010. Significantly, the Katra symbol is a Divine Feminine Spark which activates energies within your spirit body. This powerful Divine Feminine symbol opens upper chakras for rapid development of psychic gifts of the five clairs - Clairvoyance (clear seeing), Clairaudience (clear hearing), Clairsentience (clear feeling), Claircognizance (clear knowing), and Clairalience (clear smelling) for help with intuitive energy practices. In the training you receive a spark activation in your spirit body for each of three Usui Reiki symbols - power, mental/emotional, and distance. We provide the activations and training for use of intuitive Light energy for personal care sessions, table or chair sessions and distance healing for others - including pets. Use symbols to clear objects, light up space in rooms, and more. This training accelerates intuitive development of practical wisdom. Practitioners enjoy these benefits in their daily lives and can share these benefits in sessions with others.
