Katra - An Ancient Egyptian Spiritual Symbol
In September of 2010, while attending a Karuna Reiki training class in Seattle, Deborah received Katra symbol that was given to her in a vision by a woman bearing a box like the image above. Deborah opened the box and the symbol was there. When she returned from her trance and opened her eyes Mother Mary was standing in front of her. She kept the symbol safe until she knew what it was for. Wisdom Dakinis showed her how to use the symbol to 'spark' a Light Activation of sacred wisdom symbols in the human spiritual anatomy known as Light Body.
The symbol is an Egyptian Goddess symbol that is used to spark the activations of other sacred symbols in the recipient's spirit body. In the Katra Takata Reiki Training, the spark connects the spirit body to wisdom source to enliven healing qualities for each of three Usui Reiki symbols - Power, Mental/Emotional, and Distance. This gives mental and emotional clarity to know how to use symbols and energy therapy intuitively guided by altruistic beings of light. You are shown ways to use symbols to call Holy Love energies to channel through your palm chakras for purposes of self-healing and to share with others in person and from a distance. You will know how to use Usui symbols in table sessions and self-care, to clear negative 'ki' from crystals, stones, a space, home, room, water, and food.
In Wisdom Dakini we share a Katra spark for each of five symbols to represent five feminist Buddha Wisdom teachers known as Wisdom Dakinis. The word "Dakini" is Sanskrit and translates to "Sky Dancer". This nurturing source of Wisdom and Compassion gives access to five Buddha Family teachings. The symbol activations empower a person to embody practical wisdom as a natural way of being. This inspires self-nurturing and nurturing of those you love with practical solutions for life's problems.
